Operations Lead
Role Overview
The Operations Lead is responsible for ensuring that Method + Metric runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. This role owns operational execution across client delivery, internal coordination, and business administration so projects move forward, clients feel supported, and leadership can stay focused on growth.
You will work closely with leadership, the delivery team, and clients to ensure clarity, accountability, and follow-through.
Core Responsibilities
Project + Delivery Operations
- Track active projects, timelines, and dependencies across the team
- Ensure work is clearly scoped, assigned, and progressing
- Flag risks, delays, scope creep, or resourcing issues early
- Coordinate internal check-ins, status updates, and delivery rhythms
- Keep project management tools and shared documentation up to date
- Track project budgets, burn rates, and utilization
- Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and internal systems
Client Operations + Success
- Act as a primary operational point of contact for clients
- Ensure clients receive clear updates, timelines, and next steps
- Support onboarding, ongoing delivery, and offboarding processes
- Maintain and update client contracts, scopes of work, and renewals
- Coordinate communication between clients, team members, and leadership
- Help maintain a consistently high standard of client experience
Agency + Office Operations
- Support smooth day-to-day agency operations (remote or hybrid)
- Manage tools, subscriptions, vendors, and internal processes
- Identify operational gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Help bring structure, clarity, and consistency to how the agency runs
Required Skills + Attributes
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Confident written and verbal communication (internal and client-facing)
- Comfortable coordinating across multiple stakeholders
- Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Calm, proactive, and solutions-oriented under pressure
- Able to push work forward without managing people directly
- Discreet, trustworthy, and comfortable handling sensitive information
Experience + Background
- 3–5+ years in operations, project coordination, client services, or agency environments
- Experience working in a professional services, marketing, or consulting setting
- Familiarity with invoicing, budgets, contracts, and operational tools
- Experience working closely with leadership or founders is a strong asset
- Comfortable working across tools like project management software, Google Workspace, Slack, and accounting or invoicing platforms
What Success Looks Like
Within 3–6 months:
- Projects are moving with fewer surprises
- Clients feel informed and taken care of
- Leadership is less involved in day-to-day coordination
- Operational visibility (budgets, timelines, priorities) improves
Within 12 months:
- Internal processes are documented and repeatable
- Client delivery feels calm, predictable, and professional
- The team is aligned on priorities without micromanagement
- Operations scale smoothly as the agency grows

- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 / year (based on experience)
- Must be able to work (remotely) in Canada
